PennDOT - District 6 News: Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) and Grove Road for Brush Cutting Operations in Chester County

Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) and Grove Road for Brush Cutting Operations in Chester County

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled next week on Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) in East Marlborough and Newlin townships and Grove Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, for brush cutting, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, August 6 and Tuesday, August 7, on Grove Road between Boot Road and Grubbs Mill Road in West Whiteland Township; and
  • Wednesday, August 8, through Friday, August 10, on Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Northbrook Road in East Marlborough and Newlin townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
