PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict U.S. 1 (Township Line Road), Route 3 (West Chester Pike) for Utility Improvements in Delaware County

PECO to Restrict U.S. 1 (Township Line Road), Route 3 (West Chester Pike) for Utility Improvements in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby Township and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Newtown Township, Delaware County, for gas main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Friday, August 18, through Friday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) at the intersection with Cornell Avenue; and
  • Tuesday, August 28, through Tuesday, September 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Campus Boulevard and Boot Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
