Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several Highways Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Bucks and Delaware Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations in Bucks and Delaware counties, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, August 6, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Wrightstown Road at Eagle Road in Wrightstown Township, Bucks County;
- Tuesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 8, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) at Round Hill Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County;
- Wednesday, August 8, through Friday, August 10, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between Aquetong Road and Phillips Mills Road in Solebury Township, Bucks County;
- Thursday, August 9, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Wayne Avenue between Walnut Avenue and Poplar Avenue in Radnor Township, Delaware County; and
- Friday, August 10, a lane closure is scheduled on Conestoga Road between Lowrys Lane and Meadowood Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
