I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled Wednesday for Overhead Sign Installation in
Philadelphia

1/10/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Southbound Interstate 95 will be reduced to a single lane approaching the
Girard Avenue Interchange (Exit 23) in Philadelphia, on Wednesday, January
11,
from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, for an overhead sign installation, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today. In addition, lane
restrictions will also be in place at the same time on the ramp from
southbound
I-95 to Girard Avenue.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on southbound
I-95
and the ramp to Girard Avenue because backups will occur. The operation is
dependent on the weather.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and

to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
