PA Turnpike to Close Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) Weeknights

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will close and detour Route 363
(Valley
Forge Road) next week between Morris Road and Hunter Mill Road in Upper
Gwynedd
and Towamencin townships, Montgomery County, on Monday, January 16, through

Friday, January 20, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for bridge construction, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

During the weeknight operation, Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) through
traffic
will be detoured over Morris Road, Broad Street, and Sumneytown Pike.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The
work schedule is weather dependent.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will complete the work under a PennDOT

Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
