Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-76 and Route 309 in Montgomery
County for Maintenance Operations

1/4/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 76 and Route 309
in
Montgomery County for maintenance operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, January 9 through Thursday, January 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound I-76
between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Merion
and
Upper Merion townships and West Conshohocken Borough, for sweeping;

• Monday, January 9 through Thursday, January 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route
309
between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Cheltenham,
Springfield,
Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships, for debris removal; and

• Saturday, January 14, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the right lane is
scheduled to
close on westbound I-76 between the Gulph Mills (Exit 330) and U.S. 202
(Exit
328) interchanges in Upper Merion Township, for brushing and tree removal.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
