Travel Restrictions Next Week in Philadelphia Region for Overhead Sign
Structure Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled in the Philadelphia region next week for
overhead sign structure inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the overhead sign inspection schedule is:

• On Monday, January 30, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, one lane will be closed
on
U.S. 202 between Route 611 and Main Street in Doylestown Township, Bucks
County;
• On Monday, January 30, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
the Route 611 Bypass between Broad Street and Business U.S. 202 in
Doylestown
Township, Bucks County;
• On Monday, January 30, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
the southbound Interstate 95 ramp to Route 413 (New Rogers Road) in Bristol

Township, Bucks County;
• On Tuesday, January 31, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, one lane will be
closed on
the Devon Park Drive ramp to U.S. 422 west/U.S. 202 north/Interstate 76
west in
Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
• On Tuesday, January 31, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
northbound U.S. 202 between Mill Lane and Route 29 (Morehall Road) in East
Whiteland Township, Chester County;
• On Wednesday, February 1, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, one lane will be
closed
on eastbound I-76 between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Belmont Avenue in Lower
Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• On Wednesday, February 1, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be
closed on
northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between I-76 and Ridge
Avenue in
Philadelphia;
• On Thursday, February 2, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, one lane will be
closed on
the I-95 south ramp to Interstate 476 in Ridley Township, Delaware County;
• On Thursday, February 2, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, one lane will be
closed
on southbound I-95 between Enterprise Avenue and Broad Street (Route 611)
in
Philadelphia;
• On Friday, February 3, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
northbound and southbound I-476 between I-76 and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue)
in
West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County and
Radnor Township, Delaware County; and
• On Friday, February 3, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
northbound I-476 between Germantown Pike and the PA Turnpike in Plymouth
Township, Montgomery County.

The overhead sign structure inspections are part of PennDOT's program to
inspect signs structures at least once every two years. The inspections
ensure
the safety and overall condition of the structures.

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and

to more than 770 traffic cameras.
