Firefighters are investigating the inside structure for possible extension of the fire. The search is being extended to as far as the fourth floor.
At 2:36 the fire was declared "under control"

Police and EMS were dispatched to a shooting of a 20 year old male victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach. According to the caller, the shooter was an unknown person who had fled the scene on foot. Abington and Upper Dublin police were also notified.


Upon arrival, police reported that the victim was being uncooperative. A police K-9 unit was called-in to assist but there were concerns that the K-9 officer may have difficulty picking up a scent due to recent rainfall. Cheltenham Police Unit 26 K-6 was dispatched to assist.


Police established a perimeter around the immediate area assisted by Abington Police.
