Regular collection will resume the 3rd week of July and remain on the same schedule for the remainder of the collection program. Collection ends the 3rd week of September.

Work being performed by a PECO contractor on Brower Road, near the intersection with King of Prussia Road, will require temporary road closures from 9:00AM to 3:00PM for the remainder of this week and possibly part of next week.
Emergency vehicles, local residents, and school buses will be allowed access by flaggers but the road will be closed to most traffic.

ReadyMontco - Upper Providence Township Community Message

Beginning Tuesday May 28-Wednesday May 29 HBO will be filming in Mont Clare. For the safety of the cast and crew, temporary No Parking signs have been posted and will be enforced by Upper Providence Twp Police Dept. Officers will be present during filming to assist residents as needed. Residents may continue to park in their driveways, but on-street parking is restricted in the following areas:
-4th Ave between Fegley St and Sowers St
-Fegley St between 2nd Ave and 4th Ave
-Landis St between Jacobs St and Sowers St
-Jacobs St between Bridge St and one block north of Landis St
In addition, residents can expect to see police style vehicles being used in the filming, as these are part of the show.

ReadyMontco - Lower Gwynedd Twp Alert: Spring House Intersection Update

Over the next two weeks, please avoid the Bethlehem Pike intersection at Norristown Road and Sumneytown Pike if possible. While the Township has made all of the adjustments we can to improve traffic signal timing, major construction will cause delays during this time. Please be patient, we anticipate that travel through the intersection will improve within a few weeks.

Alderfer Park, 420 Oak Drive, will be closed from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024 for tree removal. Due to the number of trees that need to be taken down at various locations within the park, the Township decided to close while the trees are being removed to expedite the project and to ensure the safety of the park visitors.
