ReadyMontco - Upper Dublin Alert

CAMP HILL ROAD CLOSURE - STAGE 1
On Monday, May 22nd starting at approximately 9:00am, Camp Hill Road will be closed for Stage 1 (of 2) of construction which will last for approximately ten (10) days. There will be no construction on Memorial Day. Stage 1 work will take place on Camp Hill Road between Virginia Drive and Highland Avenue. 

Detour signs will be placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed. The alternate route for Stage 1 will direct motorists to turn from Camp Hill Road onto Virginia Drive, Pinetown Road, and Highland Avenue. Turns onto Virginia Drive from Camp Hill Road will be temporarily permitted, and the "No Turn" signs will be covered accordingly.

Once Stage 1 is complete, Stage 2 will begin, and the detour will change at that time (be on the lookout for a follow-up notification with further details on Stage 2).

Stage 1 and 2 will last a total of three weeks and is expected to be completed on, or before Friday, June 9th. Construction will include minor widening of Camp Hill Road and two intersection corners to provide better turning radii for the upcoming signalized intersection condition.

Virginia Drive will remain open at all times, and access to the Upper Dublin Police Department and Public Library will remain open from the Virginia Drive, Pinetown Road and Highland Avenue driveways.

Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
