King of Prussia, PA – Daytime and nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled next week on three state highways as a part of a project to repair and resurface more than 11 miles of state highway in Delaware County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:

- Thursday, September 13, and Friday, September 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Harvey Road between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Oakland Road in Chadds Ford Township for milling operations.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
Additional state highways scheduled for resurfacing under this contract include:
- Chichester Avenue between Route 452 (Market Street) and Concord Road in Bethel, Upper Chichester, and Lower Chichester townships;
- Foulk Road between U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) and Concord Road in Bethel Township; and
- Pyle Road between U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) and Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) in Bethel Township.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT will mill the existing roadway surface and repave the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Allan Myers, LP of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $2,757,777 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in December 2018.
