Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in
Montgomery and Chester Counties

Weekday lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled next week from 9:00
AM to
3:00 PM on several state highways for tree trimming operations in
Montgomery
and Chester counties, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, June 11: Morris Road/Lafayette Road between Penllyn Blue Bell
Pike
and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 11: Stenton Avenue between Penllyn Blue Bell Pike and Hoover
Road in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 11, and Tuesday, June 12: White Horse Road between Union
Hill
Road and Route 29 in Charlestown Township, Chester County;
• Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15: Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road)
between
the U.S. 202 off ramp and Valley Forge Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester
County;
• Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15: Evans Road between Welsh Road
and
Plymouth Road in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, June 12: Ridge Pike between Level Road and Crosskeys Road in
Whitpain Township, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 14: Militia Hill Road between
Stenton
Avenue and Cold Point Hill Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County;
and
• Friday, June 15: Matsonford Road between the ramp from Interstate 476
South
to Rebel Hill Road in Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All
scheduled activities are weather dependent.
