U.S. 202 South Lane Closure Scheduled Next Friday Night for Construction in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – Southbound U.S. 202 motorists will encounter a right lane closure between the Route 401 and Boot Road interchanges from 8:00 PM Friday, January 4, to 10:00 AM Saturday, January 5, for barrier installation and line painting operations on a project to repair and redeck two U.S. 202 bridges over Amtrak and repair two ramps at the U.S. 30/Exton Bypass Interchange in East Whiteland and West Whiteland townships, Chester County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised that backups may occur at times approaching the work zone. All schedule activities are weather permitting.
Allan A Myers, Inc. of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
