Due to the severe winter storm affecting our region, a snow emergency has been declared for both Hatfield Township and Hatfield Borough, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Effective as of 12:15 PM today, February 22, 2021. It will remain in effect for the duration of the storm. Please remember these important tips to help members of public works and the police department to keep our roads safe and clear of snow: Remove your vehicle from the road during a snow emergency. Your vehicle may be towed if it is parked in the street. Keep non-essential vehicles off the roadways. Non-essential vehicles include ATVs and snowmobiles. Remove trash and recycling receptacles, basketball nets, and all other items from the roadway to avoid damage. Know before you call: For snow plowing concerns on the following state roads, call PennDOT #1-888-783-6783. Forty Foot Road North Broad Street County Line Road Orvilla Road Cowpath Road (from Line Street to Hatfield Borough line) Welsh Road (Route 63)
