Pipe Replacement Scheduled on Several State Highways in Bucks, Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacements are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties as part of a project to address storm water management on over 90 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, December 12, through Friday, December 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Kimberton Road) between Hunt Club Lane and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in West Pikeland Township, Chester County;
- Monday, December 12, through Friday, December 23, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Fernhill Road between Exeter Drive and Brinton Place Road/Brinton Avenue in West Goshen Township, Chester County; and
- Monday, December 19, through early March 2023, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on northbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between Stagner Avenue and Kelly Road in Warrington Township, Bucks County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this $14.9 million project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
