ReadyMontco - Upper Dublin Alert

This is a message from ReadyMontco

ROAD CLOSURE: Milling will take place by the Township Public Works Department today, July 6th on Denston Drive (from Fort Washington Avenue to Joel Drive) and on Jonathan Way (from Denston Drive to Tannerie Run Road). Paving for these roads will take place on Monday, July 10th.

Milling on Anzac Avenue (from Fitzwatertown Road to Clemens Avenue) will take place tomorrow, July 7th. Paving will take place on Anzac Avenue Tuesday, July 11th.

Work hours are between 7:00am and 5:00pm, however schedules are dependent on weather and equipment breakdowns. Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted by the Township's Highway Department at least one (1) day in advance of work being done in an area. Residents are strongly encouraged to move their vehicles out of driveways and off the affected street before 7:00am the day work is to begin. Through-traffic will be delayed or prohibited as needed. Local traffic and emergency vehicles will be accommodated where possible.

When work is in progress directly in front of homes, there will be a varying wait time depending on the stage of the project before driveway access is available. The wait may be up to 30 minutes during milling, however, during paving the wait could take several hours as the blacktop goes through a curing process. If vehicles drive on blacktop before it is fully cured, damage may occur to the new street surface, vehicle finish, tires, and driveways. If there are unusual circumstances that warrant special consideration, please contact the Upper Dublin Township Public Works Department as soon as possible at 215-643-1600 ext. 3810 to provide your contact information.
