Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is aware of and monitoring an earthquake felt recently in the region. The US Geological Survey has confirmed that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake has occurred in New Jersey and was felt in our area. Please do not call 911 unless you have an emergency.
