PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on Route 313 (Swamp Road) between Creek Road and Chestnut Street in Buckingham Township.
Chester County
- Monday, November 25, through Friday, November 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Chester Road) between Paoli Pike and Boot Road in East Goshen Township; and
- Monday, November 25, through Friday, December 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane closures will be in place on the ramp from westbound U.S. 422 to Keim Street in North Coventry Township.
Delaware County
- Saturday, November 23, through Tuesday, November 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Darby Road and Meadowbrook Road in Haverford Township;
- Saturday, November 23, through Saturday, November 30, from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Haverford Avenue in Upper Darby and Haverford townships;
- Monday, November 25, through Tuesday, December 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 491 (Naaman's Creek Road) between Route 261 (Foulk Road) and Steven James Drive in Bethel Township; and
- Monday, November 25, through Friday, December 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster avenue) between Chamounix Road and Iron Works Way in Radnor Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Horsham Road) between Davis Grove Road and Keith Valley Road in Horsham Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
