Construction Activities Scheduled Next Week in Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities are scheduled in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

The work schedules and locations are:

Philadelphia

• Monday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the northbound Interstate 95 ramp to the Philadelphia International Airport for bridge inspection;
• Tuesday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the eastbound Interstate 676 ramp to northbound I-95 for bridge inspection; and
• Wednesday, November 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound Grays Ferry Avenue between Paschall Avenue and Grove Street for bridge inspection.

Bucks County

• Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Route 13 (Bristol Pike) at the Levittown Parkway Intersection in Tullytown Borough for sign and delineator installation.

Cheater County

• Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Newtown Road at the Waterloo Road Intersection in Easttown Township for sign and delineator installation; and
• Tuesday, November 1, through Thursday, November 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 (Coatesville – Downingtown Bypass) between the Chester County Airport and the Lincoln Highway interchanges in Valley, West Caln, and Sadsbury townships for crack sealing operations.

Delaware County

• Tuesday, November 1, and Wednesday, November 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Bethel Road between Smithbridge Road and Featherbed Lane in Concord Township for mechanical patching; and
• Wednesday, November 2, through Wednesday, November 23, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Brookside Road and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Newtown Township for pipe replacement.

Montgomery County

• Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Route 63 (Main Street) at the Perkiomenville Road Intersection in Marlborough Township for sign and delineator installation;
• Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Greenwood Avenue at the Rices Mill Road Intersection in Cheltenham Township for sign and delineator installation; and
• Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Washington Lane at the Ashbourne Road Intersection in Cheltenham Township for sign and delineator installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

These construction activities are part of PennDOT's program to ensure the safety and overall condition of our state highways.
