King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs will begin on the Pusey Mill Road bridge over U.S. 1 (Kennett-Oxford Bypass) in Penn Township, Chester County, due to structural damage sustained by a vehicle strike at the bridge in mid-November.

- U.S. 1 (Kennett-Oxford Bypass) between the Route 796/ Jennersville and the Route 896/New London interchanges. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 796 (Jennersville Road), Baltimore Pike, and Route 896 (Newark Road).
- Pusey Mill Road between Baltimore Pike and Forest Manor Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Forest Manor Road/Penns Grove Road, Route 896 (Newark Road), and Baltimore Pike.
In addition, on Friday, December 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is planned on southbound U.S. 1 (Kennett-Oxford Bypass) between the Route 796/ Jennersville and the Route 896/New London interchanges for construction preparations.
