Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Three State Roads Weekdays in Delaware County
for Water Main Improvements

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on Orange Street
in
Media Borough and Upper Providence Township, Marshall Road in Upper Darby
Township, and MacDade Boulevard in Ridley Township, Delaware County,
starting
Monday, April 11, for water main replacements, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The weekday work schedule is:

• Monday, April 11 through Friday, May 27, Orange Street will be closed and

detoured between Baltimore Avenue and Knowlton Road in Media Borough and
Upper
Providence Township, Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
During
construction, motorists will be detoured over Baltimore Avenue, Elwyn Road,

Route 352 (New Middletown Road) and Knowlton Road;
• Monday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Orange Street at the intersection with
Centennial
Avenue in Media Borough. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, April 11 through Tuesday, April 19, lane restrictions are
scheduled
weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Marshall Road at the intersection with
Long
Lane in Upper Darby Township. Traffic will be controlled by flagging; and
• Monday, April 11 through Friday, April 29, lane restrictions are
scheduled
weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on MacDade Boulevard between Kedron Avenue
and
Cedar Avenue in Ridley Township. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones. The work
schedules are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy
Permit.
