PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 32 (Bridge Street) between M-Y Lane and Cox Avenue in Morrisville Borough;
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 313 (Swamp Road) between Center Street and North Street in Doylestown Borough; and
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Durham Road) at Upper Mountain Road in Buckingham Township.
Chester County
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Mount Airy Road and Highland Drive in West Caln Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Darby Road and Meadowbrook Road in Haverford Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Cowpath Road) between Dain Avenue and Vine Street in Hatfield Township.
Philadelphia
- Tuesday, December 17, through Friday, December 20, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Girard Avenue between 38th Street and the Interstate 76 Interchange.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
