PECO to Close State Street Overnights for Utility Improvements Doylestown Township

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning to close State Street between Main Street and Pine Street in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Sundays through Fridays, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, beginning Sunday, November 8, through Thursday, December 17, for gas main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the overnight closure, State Street motorists will be directed to use Pine Street, Court Street and Main Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
