PECO to Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning daytime and overnight lane closures on several state highways in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Mondays through Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, beginning Monday, October 12, through late November on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Route 401 (Conestoga Road) and Garrison Drive in Upper Uwchlan and West Vincent townships, Chester County;
- Mondays through Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, beginning Monday, October 12, through late November on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Font Road and Route 23 (Ridge Road) in Upper Uwchlan, West Vincent and South Coventry townships, Chester County;
- Weekdays, from 9:00AM to 3:00 PM, beginning Monday, October 12, through December on Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Roseland Avenue and Arthur Avenue in Abington Township, Montgomery County; and
- Sundays through Fridays, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, beginning Monday, October 19, through Friday, November 13, on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Airdale Road and County Line Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
