Snow Emergency Declared Effective 6 PM, Saturday, January 24, 2026

The Borough has declared a snow emergency beginning at 6 PM on Saturday, January 24th. The snow emergency will be in effect through Tuesday morning, January 27th. Should conditions change and our team can clear roads sooner the emergency will be lifted earlier.

During a snow emergency parking is prohibited on the following streets. Vehicles operating on streets within the borough must be equipped with snow rated tires or chains during a snow emergency. Prior to 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 24th, you must remove any and all vehicles from the below Snow Emergency Routes. Vehicles found in violation are subject to ticketing and towing.

The following streets are designated snow emergency routes in the Borough:

Byberry Avenue from South York Road to East of the Borough line (Warminster Road)

County Line Road, East from North York Road to North Warminster Road.

County Line Road, West from North York Road to West Borough line.

Horsham Road from South York Road to West Borough line (Continental Road)

Jacksonville Road from East Moreland Avenue to

East County Line Road

Montgomery Avenue, East from York Road to Jacksonville Road

Moreland Avenue, West from York Road to West Borough line

Moreland Avenue, East from York Road to Jacksonville Road

Penn Street, South from Byberry Avenue to East Moreland Avenue

Warminster Road, South from Mill Road to East Moreland Avenue

Warminster Road, North from East Moreland Avenue to East County Line Road

York Road from South of Borough Line to Moreland Avenue

York Road, North from Moreland Avenue to County Line Road

If you do not live on a snow emergency route but typically utilize on-street parking, we are recommending that you remove your vehicle from the street and park in your driveway. This will help Public Works clear snow and ice more effectively from streets throughout the Borough.
