🚨 SNOW & ICE EMERGENCY DECLARED 🚨
Due to forecasted hazardous winter weather conditions, the Township has declared a Snow and Ice Emergency, effective Saturday, January 24th at 8:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. January 26, 2026.
During a Snow and Ice Emergency, the following rules are in effect:
❄️ No Parking on Snow Emergency Routes
Parking is prohibited at all times on designated Snow Emergency Routes while the emergency is in effect. Vehicles parked on these roads may be fined and towed.
🚗 Driving Restrictions on Snow Emergency Routes
Motorists may only drive on Snow Emergency Routes if their vehicle is equipped with all-weather tires, snow tires, or chains.
📍 Designated Snow Emergency Routes Include:
• Buchert Road
• Fagleysville Road
• Heather Lane
• Hill Road
• Hoffmansville Road
• Kleman Road
• Middle Creek Road
• Moyer Road
• New Hanover Square Road
• Romig Road (between Swamp Pike and Buchert Road)
• Rosenberry Road (between Swamp Pike and Overlook Drive)
• Sanatoga Road
• Turnbury Road
📢 Updates on the status of the Snow and Ice Emergency will be shared on the Township website and social media.
❗ Once road plowing is complete, Public Works will return to remove any piles of snow left in the cul-de-sacs.
Please plan ahead, move vehicles off snow emergency routes, and travel only if necessary. These measures help our plow crews, police, fire, and EMS keep the community safe.
