This is a message from ReadyMontco
- Sidewalks, especially those along routes to school bus stops and schools
- Bus stops, including sidewalks and corners where riders wait
- Fire hydrants on or near your property, which must remain clear and accessible for emergency responders
Safe sidewalks and access points are critical for pedestrians, school children, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and public transit users.
To support these efforts, the Township's Code Enforcement Department is conducting property maintenance inspections throughout the Township to identify properties that are not compliant with snow removal requirements and to make contact with those property owners.
If you are able, we also encourage residents to help their neighbors. If you notice snow that still needs to be removed — particularly near bus stops or at homes where someone may need assistance — please consider lending a hand to help make sidewalks safe for everyone.
Thank you for doing your part to help protect the safety and well-being of our community.
