SEPTA delay and service interruption alerts now available through the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management's ReadyPhiladelphia notification system.
The alerts will provide SEPTA riders with an avenue to stay informed and receive real-time information on delays and service interruptions.
SEPTA's control center currently sends out travel alerts and transit delays through its app, website and Twitter feed. Partnering with the Office of Emergency Management through ReadyPhiladelphia expands SEPTA's reach to riders along with creating a one-stop-shop for emergency-related alerts and notifications for customers.
Riders can select any or all of the SEPTA alerts available through ReadyPhiladelphia: • Regional Rail • Market-Frankford Line • Broad Street Line • City & Suburban Trolley Lines • Norristown High Speed Line • City & Suburban Bus Routes
Riders who sign up for SEPTA alerts can choose to receive information 24-hours a day or 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends. Alerts are sent as text, e-mail or push notifications through the ContactBridge app.
