I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled
for Sign Installations in Delaware
King of Prussia, PA - Overnight lane closures are scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 in Delaware County,the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, November 28, and Tuesday, November 29, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the two right lanes are scheduled to close on northbound I-95 between the Route 420 (Exit 9A / 9B) and Route 291 (Exit 12 A-B) interchanges in Tinicum Township, Delaware County; and
PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on I-95 north near the work areas because backups will occur. The operation is dependent on the weather.
The work is part of an $860,000 project to replace large roadside signs across the five-county region.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, Pa. is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
