Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-76 and I-95 for Sign Structure
Repairs in Philadelphia

Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on Interstate 76 and
Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for sign structure repair operations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, August 14, from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM the next morning, lane
restrictions are scheduled on westbound I-76 between the University Avenue
and
South Street interchanges;
• Tuesday, August 15, from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on eastbound I-76 between the South Street and University Avenue
interchanges;
• Tuesday, August 15, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, lane
restrictions are scheduled on the southbound I-95 Collector/Distributor
lanes
between the Philadelphia International Airport and Island Avenue; and
• Wednesday, August 16, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM the next morning, lane
restrictions are scheduled on the southbound I-95 Collector/Distributor
lanes
between the Philadelphia International Airport and Route 291 (Bartram
Avenue/Industrial Highway).
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
