Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Sign
Structure Repairs in the Philadelphia Region

Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on several state
highways in the Philadelphia region for sign structure repair operations,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, August 21, and Tuesday, August 22, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
temporary lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between the
Enterprise
Avenue/Island Avenue and the Philadelphia International Airport
interchanges,
in Philadelphia;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on southbound Route 611 between Business U.S. 202
(State
Street) and North Broad Street in Doylestown Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on eastbound U.S. 422 between just east of the
Pawlings
Road overpass and the Route 363 (Trooper Road) interchange in Lower
Providence
Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on southbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between
Whiteland Wood Boulevard and Boot Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester
County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on the Devon Park Drive on-ramp to U.S. 422 West in
Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between U.S. 30 East and the
Route 401 (Conestoga Road) interchange in East Whiteland Township, Chester
County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on the U.S. 202 South on-ramp to U.S. 30 West and
Business U.S. 30 in East Whiteland, Chester County;
• Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Swedesford Road from just east of Liberty
Boulevard
to Hillside Drive in East Whiteland Township, Chester County;
• Wednesday, August 23, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, a temporary right lane
closure is scheduled on I-95 between the Route 291 (Bartram Avenue/Cargo
City)
and Enterprise Avenue/Island Avenue interchanges, in Tinicum Township,
Delaware
County and Philadelphia; and
• Thursday, August 24, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, temporary lane closures
are
scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between I-76 and Kelly Drive,
in
Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
