Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

11/3/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in the
Philadelphia
region for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Saturday, November 4, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the ramp from the
Pennsylvania Turnpike to U.S. 1 North in Bensalem Township, Bucks County is

scheduled to close for bridge repair. During construction, motorists will
be
directed to use U.S. 1 South and Route 132 (Street Road) to access U.S. 1
North;
• Saturday, November 4, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane closures are
scheduled on
U.S. 202 between U.S. 422 and Brintons Bridge Road in Westtown, West Goshen
and
Tredyffrin townships, Chester County, for litter pick-up;
• Monday, November 6, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the ramp from Aramingo
Avenue to
Interstate 95 South in Philadelphia is scheduled to close for deck and
joint
repair. During the ramp closure, motorists can take Aramingo Avenue to
Wheatsheaf Lane and turn left onto Richmond Street to access the Betsy Ross

Bridge; and
• Wednesday, November 8, and Thursday, November 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,

lane closures are scheduled on northbound Route 309 at Route 73 (Church
Road)
in Springfield Township, Montgomery County, for bridge inspection.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
