Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in the
Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
tree
removal operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) between
Porter Lane and Red Oak Drive in West Brandywine Township, Chester County;
• Monday, April 23, through Wednesday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 232 (Windy Bush Road)
between
Pineville Road and Street Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, April 23, through Thursday, April 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
right lane closure is scheduled on northbound Interstate 476 between the
U.S. 1
Media/Swarthmore and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges in Marple,
Township, Delaware County;
• Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road)
between Geerdes Boulevard and Penndot Pointe in Lower Merion Township,
Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Morris Road between Mercer Hill

Road and Sheaff Lane in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Neiffer Road between Route 73
(Big
Road) and Ridge Pike in Upper Frederick and Limerick townships, Montgomery
County;
• Tuesday, April 24, through Thursday, April 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 82 (Doe Run Road) between

Dupont Road and Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township, Chester County;
• Thursday, April 26, and Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Allentown Road between Finland
Road
and Sterners Road in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County;
• Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Fairview Road and
Pughtown
Road in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County; and
• Friday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Whitehorse Road between Union Hill Road and Route 29
(State
Road) in Charlestown Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
