U.S. 1, I-95 Overnight Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Guide
Rail Repair in Philadelphia

Overnight travel restrictions are scheduled next week on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt
Boulevard) and Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for guide rail repairs, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, April 29, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane
restrictions are scheduled on the ramp from southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt
Boulevard) to Interstate 76 east;
• Monday, April 30, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM the following morning, a right

lane closure is schedule on northbound I-95 at the Betsy Ross
Bridge/Aramingo
Avenue Interchange;
• Tuesday, April 1, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is
scheduled
on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Interstate 676 west;
• Tuesday, April 1, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left
lane
closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross
Bridge/Aramingo
Avenue and Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue interchanges; and
• Wednesday, April 2, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a
left
lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Academy
Road/Linden
Avenue and Woodhaven Road interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
