I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Next Week for Overhead Bridge Construction in the City of Chester, Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 between the Chestnut Street and Edgmont Avenue overpasses in the City of Chester, Delaware County, on Monday, August 20, through Friday, August 24, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for construction activities on a project to rehabilitate eight bridges over I-95 and CSX Railroad in the city, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
