I-95, U.S. 30 Travel Restrictions Scheduled for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 and U.S. 30 in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester counties for guide rail repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and Route 413/Bristol interchanges in Philadelphia and Bristol Township, Bucks County;
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between Country Club Road and Wagontown Road in Valley Township, Chester County;
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between Wagontown Road and Manor Road in Valley Township and the City of Coatesville, Chester County;
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between Manor Road and Moore Road in Valley and Caln townships, Chester County;
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between Reeceville Road and Bailey Road in Caln Township, Chester County; and
- Monday, August 13, through Thursday, August 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between Pottstown Pike and U.S. 202 in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
