Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Bucks and Chester Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bucks and Chester counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, November 12, through Wednesday, November 14, on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Whitford Road and Quarry Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester County;
  • Tuesday, November 13, through Friday, November 16, on Fallsington Tullytown Road between New Falls Road and Low Lane in Falls Township, Bucks County;
  • Thursday, November 15, on Route 29 (State Road) between Union Hill Road and Pickering Dam Road in Charlestown Township, Chester County; and
  • Friday, November 16, on Newcomen Road between Worthington Road and Ship Road in West Pikeland Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
