I-476 Ramp Closure, Lane Restrictions Next Weekend for Pole Removal in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County
King of Prussia, PA – Northbound and southbound Interstate 476 motorists will encounter a ramp closure and lane restrictions next weekend in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, for high mast pole removal, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Saturday, February 16, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-476 near the Ridge Pike (Norristown) Interchange;
- Saturday, February 16, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 15-minute traffic stoppages are scheduled on southbound I-476 at the Ridge Pike (Norristown) Interchange and on the ramp from Ridge Pike to southbound I-476; and
- Sunday, February 17, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the northbound I-476 ramp to Ridge Pike (Conshohocken) () is scheduled to close. During the closure, motorists will be directed to continue north on I-476 and exit at the Norristown Interchange to access Ridge Pike.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
