I-95 North Ramp to Woodhaven Road Reopens Following Tanker Crash in Bensalem Township, Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – The ramp from northbound Interstate 95 to Woodhaven Road (Route 63) in Bensalem Township, Bucks County has reopened following a tanker crash and fire Thursday morning, February 7, that damaged and closed two interstate ramps, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

PennDOT maintenance crews and contractor worked since the crash to clean up debris; remove damaged sections of pavement; resurface and restripe the roadway; and install new guiderail.

The ramp from eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) to northbound Interstate 95 was also closed immediately following the crash; however, damage sustained to that ramp was minimal and it was reopened early this morning after crews finished using the area to stage equipment needed to make repairs to the adjacent ramp.
