PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday single lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, March 15, through Tuesday, March 30, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Afton Avenue) at the intersection with Lookover Lane in Yardley Borough.
Chester County
- Monday, March 15, through Friday, March 19, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Northgate Road and Westtown Thornton Road in Thornbury Township;
- Monday, March 15, through Friday, March 19, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Wickersham Lane and Haldane Drive in East Marlborough Township; and
- Monday, March 15, through Wednesday, March 31, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 162 (Strasburg Road) between Telegraph Road and Northbrook Road in West Bradford Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, March 15, through Thursday, April 15, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Springfield Road and Cedar Grove Road in Marple Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, March 15, through Friday, Friday, April 2, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Gravel Pike) between Hendricks Road and Colonial Drive in Lower Frederick Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
