Due to the snow forecast for the region, Lower Salford Township has declared a Snow Emergency effective 7:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20. During this period, parking vehicles on roads posted as "Snow Emergency" Streets are prohibited and subject to citation and towing. The Township is also asking residents, even those not living on a "Snow Emergency" Street, to remove all vehicles, trash recepticles and any other items from the roadways, keeping them as far from the street as possible. This will ensure the streets are cleared, by allowing drivers an unobstructed ability to plow the roadways.
For more information on Snow Safety, vist the Township Website at: www.lowersalfordtownship.org
