This is a message from ReadyMontco
Another winter storm will impact our area starting this evening (Tuesday, February 11th) into tomorrow (Wednesday, February 12th). Please prepare for possible hazardous travel conditions and stay off the road if you can.
The expected accumulation is up to 3" of snow across most of the region. Our Public Works crews will salt and plow the roads as needed during this snow event, and Emergency Services will be on standby.
We ask residents to please review the following information and linked resources:
❄Residents must shovel their own sidewalks, including any side or back sidewalks that are part of their property.
❄ Keep trash cans out of the streets and refrain from blowing snow into the streets.
❄Please note the Township's Snow Emergency Routes. A separate email will be sent if a snow emergency is declared. It will also be posted on social media, our website, and ReadyMontco.
❄You can also view an interactive GIS map of these routes.
❄A list of Township vs. State (vs. County) roads and who maintains and plows them.
❄Additional snow removal information
We thank you in advance for your patience this upcoming winter as our Public Works Department works to keep our Township-owned streets clear and safe.
