Keim Street, Lewis Road Among Several State Highways to Close Next Week for Pothole Patching in Montgomery County
King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways are scheduled to close next week for pothole patching operations in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, September 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Neiffer Road is scheduled to close between Game Farm Road and Route 73 (Big Road) in Limerick and Lower Frederick townships. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Game Farm Road, Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Route 73 (Big Road).
- Monday, September 17, through Thursday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Keim Street is scheduled to close between Buchert Road and Charlotte Street in Pottstown Borough. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Buchert Road, Washington Street, Mervie Street and Charlotte Street.
- Monday, September 17, through Thursday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the ramp from High Street to Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) is scheduled to close in Pottstown Borough. During construction, motorists will be directed to use High Street, Matawny Street and King Street; and
- Monday, September 17, through Thursday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Lewis Road is scheduled to close between 10th Avenue and Linfield Road in Royersford Borough and Limerick Township. During construction, motorists will be directed to use eastbound U.S. 422, exit at Township Line Road, right on Township Line Road and right on 10th Avenue to access Lewis Road.
Local access will be maintained up to all construction zones.
In addition, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound Germantown Pike between Red Rowan Lane and Hickory Road in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, on Monday, September 17, through Thursday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for pipe replacement.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through all the work areas. All activities are weather dependent.
