Route 23 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways are scheduled for lane closures with flagging next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, April 8, Newportville Road at the Nichol Avenue Intersection in Bristol Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, April 8, Route 23 (Ridge Road) between Bethel Church Road and Fulmer Road in East Coventry Township, Chester County;
  • Monday, April 8, Bethel Church Road between Ellis Wood Road and Route 23 (Ridge Road) in East Coventry Township, Chester County;
  • Tuesday, April 9, through Thursday, April 11, Route 724 (Schuykill Road) between Linfield Road and Reitner Road in East Coventry Township, Chester County;
  • Tuesday, April 9, through Friday, April 12, Bristol Oxford Valley Road between Trenton Road and Terrace Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County;
  • Wednesday, April 10, Rose Tree Road between Hunting Hills Lane and Route 353 (Middletown Road) in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County;
  • Thursday, April 11, Orange Street between Shadeland Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County; and
  • Thursday, April 11, Wayne Avenue between Poplar Avenue and Station Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur during these operations. All scheduled operations are weather dependent.
