PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility Improvements in Chester and Delaware Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions with flagging on several state highways in Chester and Delaware counties beginning next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6 on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Airdale Road and County Line Road in Radnor and Lower Merion townships, Delaware County;
- Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, on Route 352 (Edgmont Avenue) between Hilltop Drive and Dutton Mill Road in Brookhaven Borough, Delaware County;
- Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6 on Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) at London Way in London Grove Township, Chester County;
- Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 13, on Radnor Chester Road between King of Prussia Road and Raider Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County;
- Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, on College Avenue between Coopertown Road and Darby Road in Haverford Township, Delaware County; and
- Friday, September 6, through Friday, September 13, on Landover Road between County Line Road and Coopertown Road in Radnor and Haverford townships, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
