Conrail to Close State Road, Bleigh Avenue Next Two Saturdays for Rail Maintenance in Philadelphia
King of Prussia, PA – Conrail is planning to close State Road at Bleigh Avenue intersection in Philadelphia on Saturday, September 21, and Saturday, September 28, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM for rail maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, State Road motorists will be directed to use Cottman Avenue (Route 73), Torresdale Avenue and Rhawn Street. Bleigh Avenue motorists southeast of Wissinoming Street will be directed to use Milnor Street and Princeton Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
