U.S. 202 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Bucks and Chester Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Weekday lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties, including U.S. 202 next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, September 23, through Wednesday, September 25, on Route 611 (Easton Road) at Township Line Road in Plumstead Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27, on U.S. 202 between Route 926 (Street Road) and Penn Oaks Drive in Thornbury and Birmingham townships, Chester County;
  • Monday, September 23, through Monday, September 30, on Route 926 (Street Road) between Pocopson Road and School House Road in East Marlborough Township, Chester County; and
  • Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27, on Pine Run Road at Meetinghouse Road in Doylestown Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
