King of Prussia, PA – Verizon Pennsylvania is planning lane closures next on Chestnut Street at two locations in Philadelphia for conduit installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Tuesday, April 7, through Thursday, April 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Chestnut Street between 17th Street and 16th Street; and
  • Friday, April 10, through Tuesday, April 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Chestnut Street between 21st Street and 20th Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
