Snow Emergency Declared for Rockledge
Rockledge Borough has declared a Snow Emergency from 8:00 a.m. Sunday, 1/19/2025, to 8:00 a.m. Monday, 1/20/2025.
Here's Here'sou need to know:
Parking Rules:
Per Borough Ordinance 15-607:
On odd-numbered days, park on the side of the street with odd-numbered properties.
On even-numbered days, park on the side with even-numbered properties.
If "no parking this side" signs exist, follow those rules.
Always park as close to the curb as possible.
If you have a driveway, please park in it to assist plowing crews.
No parking is allowed on designated snow emergency routes during the declared emergency.
Sidewalks:
Per Borough Ordinance 21-402:
Clear sidewalks to a width of at least 3 feet.
All snow, sleet, hail, and ice must be removed within 24 hours after precipitation ends.
Keep Hydrants and Curb Cuts Clear:
Make sure fire hydrants and handicap curb cuts are accessible and free of snow to aid emergency services.
No Snow in Streets:
It is illegal to shovel or blow snow into the street. Please dispose of snow responsibly to keep roads safe and clear.
Check on Neighbors:
Please take a moment to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbors to ensure their safety and well-being during this storm.
