Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-95 and I-676 for Sign and
Guide Rail Repairs in Philadelphia

Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on Interstate 95 and
Interstate 676 in Philadelphia for sign structure and guide rail repair
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, July 24, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane
closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Front Street and
Interstate 676 interchanges for sign structure repairs;
• Tuesday, July 25, from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM the following morning, lane
closures are scheduled on the ramp from southbound I-95 to westbound I-676
for
sign structure repairs;
• Wednesday, July 26, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane
closures are scheduled on eastbound I-676 between 4th Street and 3rd Street
for
sign structure repairs; and
• Thursday, July 27, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, the
left
lane is scheduled to close on southbound I-95 between the Bridge
Street/Aramingo Avenue and Castor Avenue/Allegheny Avenue interchanges for
guide rail repair.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
